Supplemental Documentation
All passengers are required to submit either an
Affidavit of Purpose or a letter (on mission letterhead) stating that your trip is mission related.
You must travel with this document and a copy must be submitted to our office in order for
your tickets to be processed. The primary airline for your trip will determine
your requirement. Your carrier may ask you to furnish your documentation at anytime
before or during your trip. World Missions Travel accepts no responsibility for consequences
resulting from failure to supply proper missionary or humanitarian identification.
Lufthansa, United Airlines, Austrian Airlines, South African Airways, Northwest,
KLM Royal Dutch and Air France require all travelers to produce proper missionary/clergy
identification or a letter from sending organization stating that the purpose of your
trip is mission related at any time. You must have this available to present to these
airlines, as they reserve the right to ask for the documentation anytime during your trip.
All carriers mentioned above will require an Affidavit of Purpose.
Your trip may require a passport and/or visa. We recommend that you visit Travel
Document Systems (TDS) on the web at http://www.traveldocs.com
or phone them at 800-424-8472 to find out what documents may be required for your trip.
World Missions Travel takes no responsibility for your inability to travel as a result of
improper travel documents.
